2 months old and more

Little man is 2 months old!

Eloise is always nearby.....as you can see

Hudson is growing like crazy. The other night his toes were all curled in the bottom of his footy pj's. It's amazing how quickly he outgrows his outfits.

He doesn't fit in the newborn napper anymore in his pack n' play :(

We moved him out of the napper and now he doesn't have to have his legs all curled anymore!!

Eloise keeps a close watch on Hudson. They get to cuddle and visit each other in the mornings before we all get up.

Mamo and Dadee came for a visit!!!! Finally.  ;)

We were so so happy to see them. 

This is H's first trip to Tybee!

And with all of this cooler weather we had to put some pants and socks on the other day. I realized I need to go shopping for warmer clothes for him!

Hudson has a big rest of the week in store for him.. 2 month shots tomorrow which will be no fun, and then more visitors!!! So excited that Hudson finally gets to meet Mary Clare and little Patrick!!!

7 weeks old

This past weekend was so nice - it wasn't too hot out so we decided it was time to use Pat's new grill. This thing is pretty fancy. It's gas, charcoal and has a smoker. Patrick read up on how to smoke different meats and made us some delicious dinner! It was so nice to have everyone over to enjoy his cooking - and I thankfully it all turned out perfect after his first try! Eloise was in heaven - she played ball outside for around 6 hours......seriously.

H got to sport a long sleeved shirt for the first time since the breeze was a little cool. 

Here is the grill master and the boston butt that was sooo good! I am planning on him making another one this weekend --- he doesn't know that yet ;)

So far Hudson doesn't mind tummy time (unless he does it, then his momma decides to show off his skills to his daddy when he gets home...that's a different story). So here he is. Head up, then he gets a little sick of it so he falls to his side, then probably made us feel guilty for doing it and so he gets to lay on his back again...

And beautiful Eloise. When H had his pictures taken, she used this chair by the window. Eloise felt a little left out so Pat let her have a turn after the photographer left. She is such a lovely model. Look at that face. So much emotion. I think she could make it in NYC...

We had pictures of Hudson taken this past weekend. Of course our sweet, quiet baby put on a show of cries and tears for the nice photographer. She did such a great job with him though and we can't wait to see more pictures. For now, these are posted on her blog so I thought I would share them with you!

labor day

Not much going on around here before our Labor Day visitors arrived - you know, just another day in a 5 week olds life...sleep, poop, eat...and suck on your toes??

It was so nice to have some visitors over the long weekend. Jeffrey and Joy came - and Yoder made a return visit and wasn't put to work this time!

Chloe is around 13 weeks here and is one BIG puppy!

We enjoyed our holiday by hanging out with friends and family, catching crab, and playing on the water

Pat fixed us all breakfast on Monday morning - here is the chef at work! It was a step up from the Broderick hotel continental breakfast ;)

Chetana made her way to see us from Atlanta on Tuesday. We have missed her so much since our move from STL. Thankfully she moved south too! Now we're just 4 hours away. Chetana, Hudson and I went out for a late lunch and decided to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather. We were right off of a busier street downtown and Chetana made H some ear muffs so he could sleep in peace.

And after lunch we sat in a park and gave Hudson his bottle. He then proceeded to spit up/launch his food EVERYWHEREEEE. We decided he looked like a guy with a hangover after a really rough night on the town. Chetana was smart - hold him facing away, with your legs spread - that's how you avoid ruining your outfit.

Can't wait for y'all to come back again soon!

1 month

It's hard to believe Hudson is 1 month old! 

I thought this picture was so funny because he is looking at the giraffe like "what in the world IS that thing??"...and you get to see his massive cheeks ;)

A close up on those adorable chubby cheeks - we just love them and they keep getting bigger!

Hudson went on his first stroller ride around the neighborhood the other night when it wasn't too hot - and Eloise got to walk with us - a highlight for her - she has been deprived of daily walks since our move

Aunt Alison and Mimi helped me make Hudson this cute whale onesie. 

The beginnings of a smile. Pat and I can kiss his cheeks and he will give us a big grin - we tried to catch it on camera.

Finally he has a big boy tub. He was getting slippery in the sink! He definitely doesn't hate bath time anymore!

We are resting up for a fun weekend with lots of visitors...and crossing our fingers that Patrick has a quiet weekend on call!
