sweet outfits

A halloween/dress up party was this past weekend to celebrate Adele and Jordan's upcoming wedding.

Here is the little monster

and your 80's aerobics instructors

I need to find some pictures of the rest of the groups outfits and post them on here  -- we forgot to bring our camera :(

all the way from stl!

Sarah and Stephanie came to Savannahhhhh!
We were so excited to have them visit us all - and had such a great time while they were here. We hung out with Paula Deen... as you can see

had the "extended tour" on the trolley ride by our guide Hollywood

got some sun on a beautiful day at Tybee beach

(H is not too sure about the chilly water on his toes...he looks very concerned)

Hudson got to visit and cuddle with the girls

and we even celebrated the Cardinals winning the World Series!

While Stephanie visited with a friend, Sarah and I made things from Pinterest, cooked dinner and got to-go margaritas

and Hudson watched football with his daddy
sitting up like a big boy.....

for a few seconds ;)

here are our homemade bath fizzies

first try was a massive fail.
Our green bath fizzies turned into green monsters

After learning our lesson that you have to veeeerrryyy sloooowwwwllly add water to the mixture, we successfully made them!

girls weekend

Girls weekend + one baby boy was so much fun.
My sister and Momma met up with Patrick's sisters, mom and I in Atlanta a few weekends ago.
We had such a fun time - but I didn't take any pictures except for Hudson getting to cuddle with his Mamo - he was such a good boy and survived being surrounded by 6 women for the weekend!
:)

lounging around

Courtney came for a visit - it was filled with a trip to Hilton Head to the outlets, cooking, lounging around and lots of baby cuddling! A combination of all things fabulous :) and was just what I was needing.

Sharing goldfish with H

one for me

one for you

he says, 'for ME!?' ...hahaha

They both have amazing taste in shirts!

Those days went by so quickly!
Here are the last cuddles before the long drive back to Birmingham...

Thanks for our visit and all of the fun prizes you brought :)
(ps. whale and alligator are on the table being used right now!!! luuurve them)

hudson and eloise's new friends

My sweet friend Nicole and I have known each other for many years now - but most of our friendship has been long distance. It's rare to find people you keep in touch with from so far away and for such a long time. It always feels like we have just seen each other when we are able to spend time together.

Nicole and Brody drove 6 hours from North Carolina to spend time with H and I while Pat was out of town. Super Chef (Nicole :) ) brought the most fabulous lasagna and baked homemade bread to go with it...I like to call her the walking cookbook. She is one of the nicest most thoughtful people I know.

Eloise made a new best friend - as you will see in the pictures - and one day soon Hudson will be trying to keep up with Brody.

Hudson lounged around while Brody lined up H's pacifiers and traded them out for his new friend.

We are so thankful they came to see us!

more cousins!

We were so thankful that the Ingram's made the drive from Birmingham to Savannah to meet Hudson!
Mary Clare and Patrick were up and ready to hold their baby cousin first thing in the morning. Paddy didn't want his picture taken, but MC aka. little mama, didn't mind one bit. She loved on him, sang to him, gave him a tiny panda bear, read him the funnies from the newspaper, and calmed him down when he would cry. It was excellent training for her since she is going to have a new baby brother or sister in her house in April!!! Yipeeee!!

We took a drive out to Tybee. it. was. so. windy. like...really windy. You better believe we were going to still 'play' for a while though.  We put H in his little portable bed (really kind of a box....without a lid...thanks to Auntie Ang!!) - he was not bothered by the wind in his little safe place. MC on the other hand wasn't trilled - but little Patrick sat right down and started digging.

This is the view of Eloise that MC and Patrick had the whole weekend. Nose coming at the face.

I seem to put all of my visitors to work. Stephen uprooted a chunk of Crepe Myrtle for me and we planted it in front of my house - we will see if the little tree survives.

Argggg.
They had a successful day of Pirate hunting downtown (thanks to Pirate Fest - perfect timing for a visit) and posed for a picture on their 'ship'.

Of course now that they are gone my house is too quiet again :(
Can't wait for our next visitors to come!!!
