We had so much fun celebrating Nora's 1st birthday - and LOVED spending time with our B'ham friends and family!

Hudson's first trip to Doodles

I would say by the look on his face that he enjoyed his doodles...and Auntie Courtney's...and mine.

Thanks to Mamamo for the train ride!!! Everyone loved it!

I finally gave in -- broke down and used it. The 'bulky, hey I am a Mom with multiple children' buggy at Publix. 

It was a hit.

It's always hard to leave home, well Birmingham home anyway. We will be back soon!!

Baptism

Today was a very special day - Hudson and Emma Kate were baptized!

They were surrounded with love by both of our families - and we missed our friends and family who couldn't be here. It was a beautiful day - just perfect! 

Auntie Courtney's mom made the most beautiful Christening gown and slip I have ever seen.  This is its big debut! I cried when I pulled it out of the box  - it is perfect. There is so much work and love put into it - we will treasure it for generations. We are so thankful!

Memma Kate

Memma is 8 months old!!

For a while Hudson would call Emma Kate "Memma." I loved it.  Now he quit - but I'm going to try to keep the nickname alive!

Around here it's a pretty big deal to be 8 months old...as you can tell by the expression on Emma Kate's face...

We celebrate by doing 'the sprinkler'

and by being reeeeeal cute :)

Hudson wanted us to remind people that just a mere 12 months ago it was HIS turn to be the center of attention as the 8 month old baby...

This little turkey decided it was time to go from lying to sitting all on her own...big girl style. She is SO proud.

A 40 year old couch made by my dad - given new life just in time for this nice warm weather!
