hudson's first -real- beach trip

Last weekend Hudson had his first official beach trip. This little man loves the ocean and the sand.

It was such a great beach day!

Our precious, well behaved, calm Eloise turned THREEEEE

So she got to do some of her favorite things to celebrate..

like swimming!

a trip to the pet store to pick out a few prizes,

and ended her birthday celebration extravaganza with some ice cream :)

So --- she may not really be the calmest, best behaved dog --- BUT --- she IS sweet and loving. She tolerates her little brother climbing on her, stealing her toys and pulling her tail every day - such a good dog!

busy weekends

Our weekends have been full of house projects, landscaping, and fun with friends and family.

I think I may have a green thumb! We have had a few tomatoes and these are the first of our strawberries! de.licious. Broderick Farm will be taking orders soon..

We headed downtown to see the Tall Ships that came here from all over. 

This guy passed out while we were at dinner with Adele and JJ  - I have a few videos of it as well - it was awesome.

Don't worry, after getting plenty of pictures and videos his Uncle JJ picked him up to make him more comfortable :)

we found the park!

Eloise, Hudson and I have been taking several walks a week and a few weeks ago we happened to find a playground that is close by our house!

This tree shades the entire area -- while the park may not be sparkly and new - it is just right for some swinging!

sophie goes for a ride

Hudson has been standing and cruising around the house with the laundry basket. Sophie happened to be hanging out in it so she got to go for a little ride!

...then this happened...

...and as funny as it was - we decided to finally let him out!

A few weekends ago when Patrick was on call, Hudson and I had a real fun time hanging out it Daddy's office...until this happened...

As always, he recovered in no time and moved on to the next fun thing--pulling books of the shelves!

This is a little glimpse at what's going on in our den.  I'll spare you the details of it all and just show you the end result - whenever that may be.

We enjoyed a visit in Hilton Head with our STL friend, Sanmit. 

And here is sweet baby Nora!!!

She is so tiny and cute -- I wish we were closer so I could cuddle her every day!

Hudson was trying so hard to skip his nap and hang with all of the big kids - but Jeffrey took care of that as you can see!

This is the last leg of the trip when riding in the car seat wasn't fun anymore. A little music and some bright lights did the trick. No more screaming!!
