the last visit

Mom and Dad made it up here for the last STL visit - so far we have walked in Forest Park, eaten at Crown Candy Kitchen, had family style lunch at Lemp Mansion, and cleaned out our storage in the basement - we had to put them to work a little bit :)

  

Dad and Pat grilled out hamburgers and endured the crazy smoke from our tee-tiny grill

In the summer the lightening bugs overtake the marsh area in Forest Park. It is something you can't describe - you just have to see it!!  Pat tried to get a picture using different set ups on the camera - here are a few attempts - if you look close you can see a few of the glowing fireflies.

33.5 weeks!!!

Dad is sporting his very fancy, silky, made in china, sold for $1 in the Target bins, accidentally shop lifted by Pat and I tie that we gave him!!!!

B had the 32 week appointment yesterday. The nurse practitioner thought that maybe B had flipped and was no longer breech. I found this good looking guy and asked him if he would take a look in the echo lab and see if she was right...

and...

B has flipped!!! Wohoo!! No more head in the rib cage!!

Now. I reaaaally wanted to see baby's face, feet, hands..etc. Where was the most time spent?? The heart, of course!  I heard this whisper come from Pat when a good picture of all of the chambers showed up ...it was "ohhh, so pretty..."  And I just couldn't stop laughing. He just loves those hearts...

No face pictures. I even tried some little earthquakes - but those hands, legs, and feet were RIGHT in front of B's face. Oh well!

Here are the pregnant SLCH ER girls (minus one). Crissy is due very soon, me in 8 weeks, and Debbie is 10 weeks behind me! I will miss these girls...

counting down..

A move to Savannah, a new job, a baby...just a few things going on in the next 2 months..

and we only have around 3 weeks left in St. Louis!

So we are counting down to all of the upcoming events, taking advantage of what free time we have left here doing the things we enjoy most, and trying to make sure we see all of our friends before we go.

The past few weeks have flown by - starting with a fabulous baby shower thrown by my sweet friends Stephanie, Jennifer, Mindy and Sarah.

They worked so hard and it was beautiful! The flowers, decorations, food, fruit baby carriage and down to the tiniest "B" details - I am one lucky girl to have such creative and thoughtful friends.  

Baby B is stocked up with so many cute, sweet gifts from my co-workers - we can't wait to use them all!

We got to play the 'what kind of poo is it?' game...with candy in there of course. I didn't do too well, but it was so fun to see everyone sniffing the nasty looking diapers

We went on a whirlwind weekend trip full of house hunting. Our plan was to rent - that got checked off the list reeeeal fast. So if all turns out as planned - this may be our new home!!!  Stay posted :)

She had a photo shoot with a new camera lens in Forest Park this weekend by Patrick while I worked - he got some good pictures of her doing her favorite things!

These are some older pictures from a few weeks ago from Bark in the Park  -  a fundraiser in Forest Park for the humane society in St. Louis. Eloise played on the Agility Course and then went swimming with some other dogs. She could care less of course about the other dogs...just wanted to fetch sticks.

I think the picture below is hilarious. We were trying to get her out of the water. I am standing there trying to coax her with all kinds of promises - treats, a ball, a stick...but noooo. That little stinker just kept her head peeking right over the rocks and would not budge...see her staring at me??? 

And after her swim, a picture with her dad :) We finally got her out of the water!
